Trough levels should be obtained; Orally collect 12-18 hours after dose, IV collect 12 hours after dose or immediately prior to next dose.

Whole Blood- Lavender-Top (EDTA) tube, Must be full

Do not draw above intravenous administering cyclosporine.

  • Improperly labeled, collected, stored, and transported
  • Quantity not sufficient
  • Clotted specimen
